Mission Statement
The mission of Operation Scarlet, Inc., Chinese Shar Pei Rescue of Lancaster, PA, is to improve the lives of abandoned, abused, or surrendered Shar Pei by providing appropriate medical care, rehab those with behavioral issues and place them in carefully considered loving forever homes.
Founded in 1991 in memory of Scarlet, a Shar Pei in need of a home.
Operation Scarlet, Inc. received its non-profit status in January 1999 and is a nonprofit 501(c) 3 organization. All donations are tax deductible. To date the organization has rescued over 1,351 Shar Pei.
